24-25-26 April

SANMUN'26

FORGE THE FUTURE

Letter from Secretary General

Distinguished delegates;
I am Nisa Yılankırkan. As the Secretary-General, it is my great honor to welcome you all to SANMUN’26.
I would like to begin by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to our Deputy Secretary-General, Fethi Buğra Kahraman, for his unwavering dedication, support, and friendship. I would also like to extend my thanks to our academic and organizational teams, whose diligent efforts have ensured an exceptional experience for our delegates. This conference would not have reached its present standard without their ambition and hard work.
SANMUN has always stood as a platform for academic and organizational excellence, while providing a space for new friendships to be formed and delegates work toward a common goal. Throughout the years, our conference team has become stronger, more experienced, and unified through collective effort and commitment. Along this journey, we have cultivated knowledge, resilience, and a meaningful sense of community among our delegates and members. Witnessing this progress, together with your dedication and intellectual curiosity, has continually inspired us to further develop this conference. SANMUN offers a meaningful experience for delegates of all experience levels. This year, we are proud to present a range of committees and agenda items distinct from those of previous SANMUN conferences.
After months of preparation, built upon our accumulated experience, SANMUN’26 is ready to “Forge the Future” this April with our valued delegates. At the crossroads of diplomacy, international relations, and informed decision-making, we come together to ‘forge the future’. It is our great honor to welcome you all to SANMUN’26.
Kind regards,
Nisa Yılankırkan
